Senior Advanced Systems Engineer
We have an opportunity for a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Rolle (CH). In this role you will provide coaching and process improvement for Honeywell Building Technology teams across multiple regions. You’ll help the teams work in an agile manner but also ensure they deliver value to customers across a range of building systems that provide life safety and sustainability outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in data warehousing and extensive familiarity with BI tools for data analytics, particularly Power BI. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data solutions to drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
· Utilize Power BI to create insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that enhance data discovery and decision-making.
· Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance by implementing best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and optimize performance of data warehouse solutions.
· Mentor and guide junior software engineers, enhancing team skills and knowledge in data warehousing and BI practices.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data warehousing, analytics, and BI tools.

Key Skills and Qualifications
· Passion for being part of a large, global organization that delivers innovative, technology driven products that save lives and reduce the environment footprint in buildings all over the world.
· University degree in engineering field and at least 5 years of practical experience in developing software-intensive systems.
· Experience working with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) in a large organization.
· Proficiency with BI tools, specifically Power BI.
· Experience with SQL and databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or others.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attentiveness to detail.
· Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data management.
· Practical knowledge of DevSecOps and Built-in-Quality (BiQ) practices.
· Great communication and coaching skills to work constructively with all levels of the organization.
· Certifications in deploying and implementing SAFe®.
· Fluency in the English language
