Your Role at Baxter

As a Finance Sr Analyst, you provide financial and decision support for the Round Lake Drug Delivery manufacturing site at Baxter. The SFA will provide ongoing financial analysis and support related to monthly financial performance, new product launches, and capacity expansion As a key finance team member in Drug delivery, this role will serve as a point of contact for the Global finance operations, Global PSM, Accounting CoE, Shared Service center, and the local site leadership team.

What you'll be doingAssist in the development of forecasts, budgets and actual financials with analysis of resultsPerform account analysis for budgeting purposes and review trends of balance sheet accounts to better forecast and budget these itemsProvide financial support to plant management regarding financial and operational performance versus goals on a weekly basisCoordinate month end close schedulePerform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate cost saving initiativesEnsure proper accounting treatment and internal controls are in place for business processesPerform special projects with heavy financial analysis and provide recommendationEnsure integrity and accuracy of manufacturing financial performanceAssist in development of standard costs and bill of materialProvide support to audit reviewsAreas of focus include analysis of inventory & materials, conversion loss, product structure, overhead spending and moreWhat you'll bringBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong understanding of accounting principalsPrior 2+ years of experience experience in a similar role.Experience working with JD Edwards ERP Systems preferredStrong Excel skills and the ability to utilize Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Able to work independently, as well as, in a multitask, multi- functional matrix.Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin DrugsGood analytical, reconciliation, interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.Cost Accounting and Reporting IntegrityBusiness Process and Data Management

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
