Sr Analyst, Fund Peek Through

Role Overview:

Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time), responsible for data maintenance, reconciliation, and oversight of data required in the Fund Peek Through service offering. The role will also facilitate complex activities required to validate large datasets, maintain accounts, transition assets, and coordination with both internal parties and external partners. Northern Trust offers a product called Fund Peek Through to facilitate investors’ needs for transparency and aggregation of all positions. Fund Peek Through allows clients to report on the prorated underlying holdings of fund/pooled assets held in their respective accounts.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality service to customers by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks (which may be parts of larger processes) and requests for information.

Perform tasks under supervision of defined processes or procedures and check for errors. Ensure procedures in relation to above tasks are adhered to.

Collect, enter and extract data and undertake analysis as directed. Assist in the preparation of client reports.

Identify and ‘own’ problems, correct them as far as is possible and refer as/if appropriate. Reconcile Queries in a timely and appropriate manner.

Seek to learn quickly and continually improve service offered.

Assist other colleagues as appropriate. Act as effective team member within the unit and with other units by imparting knowledge as appropriate. Responsible for delivery of middle office services to Wealth Management and Institutional client servicing teams.

Interact with internal partner groups, external parties or with the clients to provide resolution to client issues and requests.

Responsible for identifying and resolving more complex problems within established guidelines.

Carries out activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact

More technically sound in area of expertise and may have a broader knowledge of other areas

Delivers a work product that requires less revision

Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of relevant Industry experience in funds services, and/or funds management

Bachelor's Degree in relevant Finance/Accounting preferred, but not required.

Familiarity w/ functional process, downstream operational groups & risk associated w/ client events/cases essential in order to assess & delegate work.

Ability to multitask & problem solving skills are essential to maintain various client events, ensuring accurate & timely completion.

Analytical/Logical Thinking, Client Interfacing, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Industry Knowledge, Project Management, Risk Management, Technical Knowledge

Excellent oral and written communication skills required to present information/ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Highly flexible and adaptable to change

Should be willing to work in BGC, Taguig City
