Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive. **Your New Role…** The Sr Payroll Analyst is responsible for payroll administration, payroll audit, and the application of best practice payroll processes. The Sr Analyst will evaluate and advise on improvements to the current payroll process. (S)he will research and respond to payroll inquiries from customers and stakeholders, working across Finance, Legal and P&C. This individual will lead internal audits of various payroll areas and prepare materials for external and internal auditors. (S)he will have an active role in special payroll projects, providing support and/or leading them. **Your Role Accountabilities…** + Responsibility for accurately and timely execution of international payroll by working closely with local payroll provider in timely manner, with a high level of accuracy. Ensure all payroll controls are performed, and checklist are followed in the process flow of payroll according to the payroll processing calendars of each of the country + Main point of contact for international payroll operations, employee payroll related issues, and questions concerning the payroll tools and processes as well as issues relating to benefits local authorities. Providing excellent customer service in researching and responding to payroll related inquiries from employees, agencies, and other internal/external parties. Resolving ticket requests in case management system for issuance of payments and other payroll issues. + Act as a strategic advisor on payroll best practices. Identify opportunities and execute process improvements for procedures in the payroll. Analyze payroll trends and financial data to identify opportunities for optimization an + Work closely with Legal, Finance and P&C to ensure payroll compliance. Leading internal audits of various payroll areas, checking GL accounts and preparing materials for external and internal auditors. + Compiling statistics and reports on a regular basis as well as ad hoc requests as well as Year-end reporting. Performing data analysis by running reports, and using Excel functionality (vlookups, index match, pivot tables). + Support / active participation in special payroll projects **Qualifications & Experience…** + 5+ years of payroll, finance or accounting experience required + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources Management or related field or the equivalent knowledge and experience + Payroll certification a plus + Experience managing a third-party payroll vendor(s) + Direct experience and understanding of related requirements in payroll/compensation for LATAM is required. + Experience with payroll systems, applications, vendors in use within the LATAM market (e.g. Safeguard, Workday) + Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits and other LATAM payroll related matters required + Strong finance skills, including experience with Finance operations. + Verbal and written communication skills – including ability to speak and write in English in a professional environment is mandatory + Must have strong organization and follow-through skills + Must have strong deductive reasoning and problem solving skills + Must have proven successful customer service skills and be adept at diffusing difficult situations + Must be able to understand new or unfamiliar information or complex documents easily + Must be able to work effectively and form positive relationships with colleagues in different departments + Must be able to communicate across all levels both internally and externally + Must be process-oriented and able to define a simple, standardized way to perform activities + Must have the ability to instill confidence and credibility with customers, peers and subordinates + Must be confidential with sensitive data and information **How We Get Things Done…** This last bit is probably the most important!
