Expected salary range of **$107,100 to $119,000** , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
The Senior Pricing Analyst in Retail Pricing is responsible for supporting pricing and structuring solutions for both standard and non-standard retail product transactions, including potential involvement in structured CORe+ deals and other sustainable offerings. This role also entails the development and maintenance of analytical tools to ensure accurate pricing and tariff analysis, and, when necessary, to support operational needs. The Senior Pricing Analyst actively monitors market conditions, regulatory rules, tariffs, and rates to help ensure that electricity products remain accurate, compliant, and competitive. In addition, this role provides a high level of service by delivering thorough, insightful, and timely responses to all pricing-related inquiries and activities.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Perform standard and non-standard pricing requests using in-depth expertise of electric market structures, products, cost components, pricing mechanisms, tariffs, market rules, and rates.
+ Conduct complex technical analyses of pricing and market data to deliver cost assessments, internal reports, and presentations or trainings to stakeholders.
+ Lead large, complex electric RFPs and non-standard pricing requests by coordinating cross-functional resources (e.g., Data Management, Legal, Accounting, Risk, Credit, Portfolio Management, Trade Desk, Sales, Sales Support, and Operations).
+ Support the Sales organization with accurate and timely pricing, model and curve maintenance, and insights on product structure and market dynamics.
+ Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Forecasting, and Wholesale Structuring to validate and analyze pricing models, load data, and market inputs for both existing and future retail electricity products.
+ Monitor changes in wholesale market rules and retail tariffs; analyze and implement impacts on pricing structures in coordination with Regulatory Affairs. Evaluate and propose pricing strategy modifications as needed.
+ Serve as the primary point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal stakeholders; maintain pricing documentation and produce regular reporting such as the monthly pricing scorecard.
+ Support new product development and pricing process improvements; assist with post-deal customer calculations including ETPs, assignments, and COOs. Communicate regulatory and market change impacts across internal teams.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics
+ 5-years of experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving in a complex or data-intensive environment
+ Experience in the energy industry
+ Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and key stakeholders, both internal and external
+ Demonstrated ability to independently analyze large data sets and develop actionable insights from complex scenarios
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, and basic statistical analysis
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, such as macros and VBA
+ Basic understanding of coding, querying, and data visualization tools (e.g., MATLAB, SQL, Power BI, VBA)
+ MBA
