Sr Analyst, Supply Chain Performance

Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board! **Why you'll love this job** + This job is a member of the Supply Chain Performance team within Technical Services and the Integrated Operations Division. + Responsible for supporting the Supply Chain organization with processes, metrics, and data **What you'll do** + Provides analytical support through databases and visualization tools both on a regular reporting schedule as well as on an ad hoc basis + Represents the company and serves as the principal intermediary in business transactions with both internal and external organizations + Defines project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organizes and leads project status and working meetings; prepares and distributes progress reports; manages risks and issues; corrects deviations from plans; and performs delivery planning for assigned projects + Successfully communicate relevant program information to multiple departments such as Engineering, Marketing, Production and Program Management on a regular basis + Coordinates all required strategic sourcing functions, from establishing internal stakeholder requirements **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience/training **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Working knowledge of technical tools for analysis, databases and visualization : Oracle, SQL, Databricks, Tableau, etc. **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** + Strong statistical analysis, data modelling, and presentation development and delivery skills + Strategic mindset with a demonstrated aptitude for understanding the business, working with data, and self-motivated in solving problems creatively + Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds + Ability to thrive in an unstructured role while working through ambiguous problems + Proven ability to lead projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met + Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels including the executive level + Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks with exhibited follow through and initiative. + Advanced business understanding particularly in project management + Skilled in organizational and interpersonal dealings + High ethical standards + Ability and willingness to travel as needed **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
