How will you make an impact? 

 

Responsibilities 

Lead Analyst for team managing component repairs supply chain. The position reports to Manager – Component Repairs. It is responsible for leading and guiding a team of Repair Analysts. Enables and ensures smooth flow of parts and information through the repair supply chain. Manages supplier relations to effectively control repair costs and repair Turn-Around-Time (TAT) / Lead Times. Assists the manager and analysts in sourcing and negotiating component repair transactions and programs; administers contracts. Manages the lease, warranty, BER (Beyond Economic Repair) and (BPR) Beyond Physical processes. Evaluates warranty, BER and BPR quotes to affirm or refute supplier analysis and costs. Represents supply chain team in operational and project coordination meetings, meeting calls with internal and external organizations.Assists in preparation and management of repair budget for the organization. Who we’re looking for?

 

Requirements 

 

Strong knowledge of supply chain / planning concepts and processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills required; assertiveness to negotiate and mediate pricing and complex collaborative programs. Knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts. Financial and data analysis skills to assist in negotiations and understanding Supply Chain costs / business models / options. Demonstrated management, leadership and / or project management experience. Strong analytical and quantitative skills and knowledge of analytical / database tools like MS-Excel, MS-Access, BI Tools (e.g. Cognos / SQL / Tableau). Knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar ERP system preferred. Prior airline or aviation engineering and / or supply chain management experience preferred. Degree or advanced education in fields of supply chain management, logistics, production engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, business / MBA preferred.Some travel is required.
