**Job Description Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Instrument Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining various analytical instruments, including LCMS, ICPMS, ICPOES, and HPLC. The candidate will also have a solid understanding of data integrity principles, excellent documentation skills, communication skills and understanding on regulatory Audit exposure and the ability to troubleshoot instruments and review analytical data.
**Job Description**
Key Responsibilities:
1. Instrument Operation and Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various analytical instruments, including LCMS, ICPMS, ICPOES, and HPLC.
2. Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity by following established procedures and guidelines, and implementing data integrity principles in daily work.
3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of instrument performance, maintenance, and data analysis.
4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal instrument performance.
5. Data Review: Review analytical data for accuracy and completeness and identify any issues or trends that may require attention.
6. Shift Work: Work in all three shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) as required, and be flexible to adapt to changing work requirements.
7. Empower Software: Utilize Empower software for instrument control, data acquisition, and data analysis.
8. Disciplined Work Culture: Maintain a disciplined and organized work environment, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
9. Safety Precautions: Follow all safety precautions and guidelines when working with analytical instruments and chemicals.
10. Adaptability: Be able to adapt to timely changes in responsibilities and priorities.
11. Communication Skills: Should have sound communication skills.
12. Regulatory Audit exposure: Should have exposure of Regulatory Audits like USFDA.
Requirements:
- Masters' degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in operating and maintaining analytical instruments, including LCMS, ICPMS, ICPOES, and HPLC
- Strong understanding of data integrity principles and practices
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot instruments and review analytical data
- Experience with Empower software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Additional Job Description-**
- Work in a laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals and analytical instruments
- Work in all three shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) as required
