Duties and Responsibilities
Learn and interact with both legacy data systems and newly curated datasets hosted on Amazon Web ServicesLeverage leading analytical tools to generate insights that facilitate key decisions by department leadershipWorks with multiple teams to support data collection, integration, and retention requirements based on business needs and future executionEffectively blend and clean the data to get to the right insight based on the requirementsCreate an accurate report or insightful and user-friendly dashboard that meets the stakeholders’ needs and leads to business insightSet delivery expectations accurately and relentlessly communicate the status of high priority itemsOrganized and clear verbal/written communicationsAbility to meet project deadlines with minimal supervisionMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalentOne year of experience using analytics tools like SQL, R or PythonPrior work or academic experience visualizing data in reports or dashboardsFamiliarity with cloud technologiesContinuous learning mindsetBalances working independently with an understanding of when to escalate with questions/issuesPreferred Qualifications
Experience with Tableau or other similar tools/platformsFamiliarity with healthcare dataExperience working within a healthcare industryMaster's Degree in Public Health or StatisticsTime and project management, critical/creative thinking, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to create and lead presentations and communicate to both technical and non technical audienceWillingness to learn new systems and technical languageHiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $106,300 - $153,595
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $97,000 - $144,330
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
