**Role Purpose**
Responsible for Hyperion Essbase Global applications and related applications used for Global & Group reporting (internal & external), Data/quality analysis, Key Performance Indicator analysis. To assist in the production of quality management information including consolidation of hotel operations and overheads on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis using above applications and People soft knowledge.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Working along with the team towards helping in month end close process. This will include collection of data from hotels and corporate overhead locations, loading files, validating data to source systems, and reviewing data quality.
+ Running and distributing month end report books and produce the weekly reports for key hotels.
+ Running the hotel ROY forecast process, Long Range Forecast, on a periodic basis, including data collection and validating data to source systems and reviewing data quality. Also helping with yearly Budget process.
+ Providing data extracts to hotels for use in their EFPM forecast and handing EFPM testing as & when required.
+ Ensure accuracy and integrity of data within these applications including validation to source systems and executing additional detailed checks of the numbers prior to release, for example comparable hotels, percentages, business special requirements, SOX compliance etc.
+ Work with the team to ensure all data changes and new/modified processes are interpreted correctly and
+ implemented in all Global Applications towards building efficient global processes.
+ Implementation of various Ad Hoc requests and projects in the required Global Applications.
**Key Skills & Experiences**
Education –
Degree/Masters in Accounting, Finance, Business, or international equivalent or Semi Qualified accountant or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
Experience –
3+ year’s progressive experience with demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting systems and management accounting and preferable to have experience in reporting and forecasting
Knowledge:
+ Enthusiastic team player
+ Good written and verbal communication skills
+ PeopleSoft knowledge and basic Excel skills are advantageous.
+ Ability to organize and work along with changes.
+ Good analytical and problem solving skills with good level of accuracy.
+ Interpersonal skills, and able to work with multi-cultural organization.
+ Able to work in different shift timings as per business requirement. And follow tight deadlines.
