Responsibilities

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Network Security Sr. Analyst to assist with implementing, optimizing and maintaining security solutions. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of security access controls and protocols, as well as hands-on experience with Networking products with problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing environment. An effective communicator, and a confident team member with a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Performs assigned security mitigations and maintains solutions to compliance-related problemsExecutes and maintains Network Security plans and procedures to ensure cybersecurity compliance for operational technologiesSupport in-depth security architecture and maintains a strong understanding of networks to ensure adequate defense in depth designStay current on industry trends and security requirements in the industryActively seeks continuous improvement opportunities and participates in improvement initiatives of internal network security processes, procedures, and standards

Qualifications:

Prefer at least 3-5 years of related Network and Security experience or equivalent industry certifications2 years of experience with network hardware configuration2 years of significant experience with Windows based operating systems and Unix systems, specifically Linux.Solarwinds experience is a plusNetworking background (Routers, Switches, Wireless, Firewalls, Cloud Networking, NAC, etc)Expertise in technologies involved in large scale enterprise deployments/data centersExperience in deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems and virtual systems.Experience with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdumpExperience implementing and using complicated software products that involve multiple componentsAbility to clearly document complicated steps and proceduresDesign and architecture experience a plusWorking knowledge of shell, perl and xml scripting.Excellent communications skills, strong customer orientation, good organizational skills, self-driven with ability to multi-task on various projects and aptitude to learn new technologiesExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in demanding and challenging environments

Education/Certification:

Security+, Network+, CISSP, CEH is preferredCisco Certs are CCNA/CCENT/CCIECloud Infrastructure, GCP Networking, Azure NetworkingBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience preferredAssociate's degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience preferred
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
