**About the Role** As a Sr. Application Developer in ​​Business Applications team, you will be responsible for the implementation of scalable Salesforce-related technical solutions and integrating internal and external platforms to achieve desired features. These solutions will have a significant impact on Uber's results in areas of user growth, safety, and global expansion. Design, build, and optimize Salesforce functionality for B2B teams 2. Build and configure APIs with internal and 3rd-party cloud solutions. 3. Check in and deploy code and configurations; participate in release management 4. Improve and build solutions to address architectural gaps or technical debt. 5. Participate in story planning, standups, and retrospectives. 6. Update and maintain technical documentation for business and compliance purposes 7. Monitor, assess, and report on Salesforce system health and usage. Identify needed system improvements related to performance and scalability and refactor existing sub-optimal features. 8. Execute with a team of solution architects, program managers, and peer engineers. 9. Support QA efforts during implementations and rollouts of new system features \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 01. Expert in Apex, Lightning, visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Integrations. 02. Minimum of 7+ years of Salesforce application development experience. 03. Good understanding of Object oriented programming concepts. 04. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1 & 2, Administrator 201. 05. Strong command on Salesforce platform, its capabilities and limitations. 06. Strong command on Trigger, batch, schedulers, platform Events, and Change Data Capture, etc. 07. Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs and its integration capabilities. 08. Hands on experience with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API. 09. Experienced with Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components. 10. Excellent verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 11. Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management. 12. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 13. Passion for technology, industry research, and enjoys solving business problems and willing to learn new technologies. 14. Drive for ownership and accountability. \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder and/or Platform Developer 2. Experience with Integration patterns, and best practices. 3. Copado (or any other DevOps tool) & Mulesoft/Dell-boomi experience is a big plus.
