The Senior Associate, Veterinary Services Supplies initiates and executes an effective supply management program for all veterinary services supply rooms and/or animal care facilities within for the site(s). This role manages and provides guidance to veterinary services personnel with regards to timely and cost-effective ordering, receiving, stocking, tracking and distribution of the required supplies for the site. The incumbent oversees communication and interactions with third-party suppliers, delivery drivers, maintenance personnel, and other site visitors.
The Senior Associate, Veterinary Services Supplies leverages strong understanding GXP/animal care regulations and SOP/compliance requirements to oversee creation, maintenance, distribution and tracking of required documents and forms which includes, but are not limited to, site logbook creation and review, animal tracking, calendar maintenance of studies and events, and change control processes. This role ensures regular transport and delivery of samples from the site in accordance with established SOP/compliance requirements.

Associates or bachelor's degree in agricultural, scientific, business, or related field and a minimum of one (1) year in one or a combination of computer and/or administrative experience within a manufacturing, operations, animal care environment, or relevant work environment.Basic computer skills for business communication and documentation of maintenance activities including Word, Excel, Outlook. Able to be trained to operate skid steer is a requirement for this position.Basic understanding and knowledge of animal environment once trained.Able to follow all animal welfare and biosecurity guidelines once trained.Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholder groups.Demonstrated problem solving/decision making skills.An agile learner with demonstrated ability to seek necessary resources and/or skills.
