Current Need

We are seeking a Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst with SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization experience preferred.

The Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst is a key role in supporting organizational readiness, performance, client management, and the overall success of services within the company. This role directly supports the organization’s Business Intelligence function by taking a lead role in providing quality checks for data reports delivered to clients, individually completing complex analyses and ad hoc requests, assessing and communicating opportunities for data quality improvement, providing communication and product support to clients receiving pharmacy data, and delivering high quality reports. The Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst also takes a lead role in recurring and ad hoc projects, including report UAT and developing processes to streamline and improve data communication.

The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and the ability to provide a consistently high-level of data quality assurance. The candidate must exhibit the ability to problem solve and analyze issues, as well as research root causes. The candidate must have communication skills that enable them to interact with internal and external clients in a meaningful and fruitful way.

Produce and transmit recurring reports for clientsPartner with Business Development, Implementation, and Development for drug launch data reporting creationSupport execution of core analytics and developing new analytics, reporting, and visualization to answer emerging questionsProvide reconciliation of any data issues that arise out of gaps in quality checksWrite queries for internal ad hoc data requestsAssist with data production for presentations to clients and prospective clientsUnderstand the landscape of available data/sourcesEnsure data alignment with internal systems

Key Responsibilities

Take lead roles in large, complex, or cross-functional projects, managing the Market and Business Intelligence team’s role in concert with other stakeholders, internal and externalCollaborate with, develop, and train less skilled or experienced teammates on technical or operational issues, to enable them to deliver quality work on timeEngage with clients on highly complex or escalated requestsDevelop and write documentation for departmental processesDrive innovation by searching for and evaluating new tools, processes, and ways of thinking about dataTranslate business questions using analytics framework determining the appropriate analytics plan and stated recommendations from analysisUnderstand logic behind standard reporting with ability to recreate, modify, and implement new reporting as requiredPartner with internal team members to deliver on projects as needed

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Education

4-year degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Analytics or HealthCare related field

Critical Skills

3+  years experience in data analysis in the healthcare industryEfficient with SQL query tool, thorough understanding of SQL methods to query various size data setsFluency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and SSRSSQL and Power BI knowledge required3+ years of healthcare experience preferredPython or similar scripting exposure preferred

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $64,900 - $108,100
