**Job Description:**
Overall Purpose: Tier-2 NRC, maintenance support centers and field maintenance personnel. It provides the technical troubleshooting and leadership skills required to recover from the most complex network problems in real time, directing activities of technical resources from Tier-2, ALABS, and vendors to restore service. Position requires proactive and reactive network analysis, troubleshooting, coordination and restoration of service affecting or potentially service affecting network events/issues on the Adjuncts and other TDM elements to resolve events/issues, effectively minimizing customer impact.
Required Qualifications -
Understanding of UNIX and LINUIX Operating Systems
Understanding of Network Design and Implementation and database development
Understanding of IP Protocols, Service Applications and Multicast
Understanding of Layer 1, 2 and 3 Protocols
Understanding of Network and Performance Management
Understanding of RF and Signaling techniques
