We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Associate Scientist to join our Analytical Innovation team as a part of our broader Regeneron Cell Medicines (RCM) group. You will join our Biomolecular Innovation group, which explores new molecular biology approaches to characterizing CAR-T cells and lentiviral vectors (LVVs) to further process and translational knowledge of our therapies. As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day might include:
Assisting in the development of novel multiomic NGS workflows for CAR-T cell products and ddPCR assays for characterizing virus-like particles
Preparing NGS libraries and ddPCR experiments
Performing general laboratory tasks, including sequencer operation and maintenance of equipment
Maintaining accurate and reliable records including electronic notebooks and all other pertinent documentation
Assisting in technical review and writing of supporting documents including protocols, and reports
Presenting data in small and large group settings

Are able to work independently to design and implement experiments and to analyze and interpret results
Have strong organizational skills to drive a project and maintain an up-to-date lab notebook and keep detailed records
Have critical reasoning skills to interpret data and troubleshoot complex experiments and/or instruments
Are able to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to evolving needs of the team
In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field and 3-5+ years of relevant lab experience. Must have working experience with NGS and PCR workflows, including running PCR/ddPCR and using Illumina, Nanopore, etc. Experience with single-cell sequencing workflows is strongly preferred, and familiarity with cloning techniques is a plus.
