As a Sr. Associate Software Developer in the Customer Intelligence Division at SAS, you will join a team of talented engineers working collaboratively to deliver leading edge, innovative digital marketing solutions.

As a Sr. Associate Software Developer, you will:

Design and develop high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to Customer Intelligence 360 best practices and processes.Implement scalable and efficient code, ensuring seamless integration within a continuous delivery pipeline.Ensure the security and performance of software throughout the development and deployment process.Address production issues, provide quick resolutions, and prioritize customer experience in all development efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product, operations, and support, to ensure high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement.Maintain accountability for the entire life cycle of the code.Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

 Required Qualifications

Two or more years of experience developing enterprise-level solutionsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldDemonstrable experience with the Java programming languageSolid understanding and experience with JSON and RESTful APIsAn equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualificationsYou’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.  Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Amazon Web Services, or similar cloud offeringsThorough knowledge of additional AWS services (Kafka, Lambda, ECR/ECS, SQS, SNS, OpenSearch, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.)Familiarity with microservicesExperience with relational databases and SQLDemonstrative test automation experienceExperience building DevOps-enabled software solutionsExperience with container management systems, such as KubernetesUsage of Git, GitHub, GitLab, and/or JenkinsExperience with the Python programming language
