St. Peter's Addiction Recovery Center offers comprehensive services for individuals and families affected by drug or alcohol abuse with respect and compassion. SPARC's outpatient clinic treatment services provide help and guidance so that individuals and families may live a healthy and satisfying lifestyle free of drugs and alcohol. Participants gain physical, emotional and spiritual well-being in a safe and caring setting that promotes positive relationships and personal responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the Program Manager in the overall clinical operations of the program site.This includes supervision of staff, assigning work and scheduling time off, and participating in personnel decisions (hiring, firing, disciplinary actions etc.)May be called upon to represent the Program Manager at various meetings. Responsible for assessment, Individual, family, and group counseling and case management of a small caseload.Conduct psychosocial evaluations and gather appropriate information to support a DSM IV diagnosis.Determine patient level of care according to ASAM and NYS LOCADTR criteria and established criteria accepted by SPARC.Provides group and individual therapy to individuals and families.Evidences knowledge and understanding of a range of treatment needed and is able to implement appropriately.Accurately and appropriately documents care that is consistent with the approved format and within the required timeframes.Serves as technical expert to group of peers. Manage reports and provided quality and integrity reviews of documentationWhat you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field is required. Master's degree preferred.Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP). Minimum 3 years of experience in addictions or behavioral health related field and clinical supervisionExperience working with a diverse population and a strong understanding of multicultural issues is preferred.Strong skills with Microsoft Office applicationsPay Range: $25.10 - $34.65
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
