**Primary Purpose**
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Responsible for the administration of the company's Health & Welfare Plans, including COBRA, Retiree Health care and FSA/HSA administration and serves as the subject matter expert in these areas as well as severance. Works directly with third party administrators (TPA) related to delivery of H&W, Retiree Health Care, and FSA/HSA administration. Supports Manager in role of primary company representative and liaison with internal clients and external carriers/vendors to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and assure Plan compliance. Understands the end-to-end process and creates/designs new processes. Individual works directly with the H&W Plans Administrator to resolve plan, policy or ERISA appeal issues.
**Primary Duties**
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Supports the administration of the company's H&W plans and serves as subject matter expert on all H&W plans including retiree health care plans, FSA/HSA, and severance plans (35%)
+ Supports the management of the TPA and monitors compliance with contractual performance standards and responsible for day to day vendor management activities for major health and welfare plan carriers (20%)
+ Supports Open Enrollment, benefit deduction and earnings payroll reconciliation, COBRA, severance and disability plan enrollment and administration activities; benefit presentations and performs basic data analysis to support the administration of the plans (15%)
+ Evaluate and interpret plan documents, procedures, and contracts related to H&W Plans to ensure compliance with Plan provisions and company and legal compliance as governed by ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and Department of Labor (10%)
+ Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to ensure administration accuracy and quality and customer satisfaction (10%)
+ Assists business units and the Employee Service Center in resolving participant issues regarding matters of plan design and administration (10%)

**Minimum Qualifications**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 4-year degree and 4-7 years of H&W benefits consulting or administration experience
+ Excellent written communications and analytical skills
+ Project management experience and skill set
+ Proven ability in vendor management
+ Ability to analyze and summarize data and prepare solutions for management review
+ Excellent customer service skills, strong communications skills, and solid project management skills.
+ Understanding of H&W Plans
+ Ability to work well in project environment.
+ Makes decisions based on analysis of relevant information including plan documents, problems, root cause analysis, priorities, critical issues, and alternatives.
+ Works with others to achieve common goals that result in more than what could be done individually
+ Advanced skills in accountability, ownership and a strong sense of urgency in responding to customers
+ Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

**Benefits**
+ Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $76,800.00/Yr. - USD $115,200.00/Yr.
