About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Architect to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in developing and implementing complex Microstrategy solutions, as well as deep understanding of data warehousing architecture and Snowflake technology.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other developers to design, develop, and implement Pacsun’s enterprise business intelligence solutions that meet the needs of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle of Microstrategy projects, from requirements gathering and design to testing, developing, and maintenance.
A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:
Work as part of a flexible, committed and active technology team to deliver high quality solutions with focus on supporting current Pacsun Data Warehouse and BI technologies Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather and document requirements for Microstrategy projects Design and develop complex Microstrategy solutions that meet business requirements Develop and maintain Microstrategy reports, dashboards, and visualizations Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Microstrategy solutions Work closely with database administrators to ensure optimal performance of data warehouses and related data structures Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses Develop and maintain documentation for Microstrategy solutions and related processes Provide training and support to business users and other developers as needed Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Microstrategy development and data warehousingWhat it takes to Join:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study At least 10 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing Microstrategy solutions In-depth knowledge of Microstrategy architecture and development best practices Deep understanding of Retail business and data models Must have expert level understanding of Data Warehouse Must have expert level understanding of Microstrategy Must have expert level knowledge of ETL tools and processes Must have strong SQL skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as port of a team Snowflakes platform experience preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
