The Sr BI Integration Developer is an important member of the Business Intelligence team within ATI’s IT Solution Delivery department. This role is responsible for developing, testing, and implementing BI solutions and integration workflows that enable the organization to achieve its clinical, operational, and administrative goals. The developer will design and deliver cutting-edge BI solutions. This role will leverage the Boomi iPaaS platform and other integration platforms to support seamless data integration across systems. This position requires strong technical expertise in business intelligence, data modeling, and integration, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners effectively.

Responsibilities

BI Solution Development:
• Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions using MS SQL Server BI tools (SSRS, SSIS) and other reporting tools like Power BI.
• Create and optimize dimensional models, data marts, and Fact/Dimension tables to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Build and enhance parameterized, drill-down, and self-service reports for end users.

Integration Development and Management:
• Design and implement integration workflows using the Boomi iPaaS platform to connect disparate systems and ensure smooth data flow.
• Develop scalable, efficient, and secure integration solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration processes to ensure reliability and performance.

Data Integration and Automation:
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to improve efficiency.
• Develop reusable components for integration and data exchange to support scalability.

Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and best practices for BI and integration processes.

 

Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies and compliance standards in all BI and integration activities.

 

Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including process and support documentation.
• Timely and consistent updates in the ITSM (ServiceNow) Incident and Change tracking system.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Experience
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data integration development.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server BI tools (SSRS, SSIS) and integration platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise in optimizing BI solutions and developing scalable integration workflows.
Preferred:
• Experience with Boomi iPaaS platform for integration.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data integration solutions (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and tools such as Azure DevOps.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency in BI development tools, including SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI.
• Strong experience with Boomi iPaaS, including API management and process automation.
• Expertise in T-SQL development and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL, and integration workflows.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to design and implement solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
