Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, bank reconciliation, expenses categorization, accounts payable, and highlight the exceptions for action and variance analysis.
Perform monthly closing of books- month end journals, reconciliations, closing entries
Maintenance of supporting documents for financial transactions
Liaise with vendors, banks, and/or relevant in-house departments on payment and expenses claims
Prepare daily basis cash position reports
Assist in monthly/quarterly/annually corporate or other filings of the company
Manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash requirements
Validate the correctness of payment requests and supporting documents to ensure consistent and accurate account booking to accounting software
Assist Accounting Firms to ensure compliances with federal, state, and local legal requirements
