Ingredion is hiring an Senior Business Analyst/Associate Product Manager who will be part of Digital Innovation team within the Ingredion’s Global Innovation Group based in Bridgewater, NJ. The incumbent will be responsible for development, optimization, and maintenance of data management and AI/ML platforms for more effective product innovation, design, and development of next generation food and industrial ingredients.

Core Responsibilities:

Lead discovery sessions to establish and document business processes that will be implemented in the software platformsDefine software requirements through interactions with key Innovation Stakeholders, ensuring they are in line with business goals and deliver the best possible user experienceCreate user stories, documenting functional and technical specifications and acceptance criteriaDevelop preliminary User Interface design based on gathered requirements, breaking down complex functionality into structured, intuitive UI.Communicate requirements to key software development resources to aid in application design for front and back-end solutionsManage multiple work streams, assessing priorities, managing timelines, and delivering complete, accurate work productsDevelop and conduct comprehensive test cases and persona-based testing scenarios, ensuring all developed functionalities meet business needs and acceptance criteriaEnsure that the software meets project objectives and customer expectationsAdminister and maintain the platforms, identify opportunities and drive initiatives to streamline operations, introduce automation, and improve the customer journeyImplement standards and processes to maintain data integrity and keep the systems optimizedProvide support and guidance to the R&D team and the developers on the best practices and methodologies for software development.Develop data visualization capabilities using self-service visualization tools, like Power BIConduct administrative tasks as an application administrator for Innovation 360 platform

Qualified candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, or related fields and 3-5 years of experience in technology services and/or software developmentDemonstrated record of working as a business analyst in development and successful delivery of digital productsExperience with Agile methodologies highly recommendedUI/UX development experience highly recommendedProficient in use of DevOps, Jira, as well as UI/UX software applications (e.g. FIGMA)Track record of developing, optimizing or working on scientific platforms for research & development and/or food manufacturing is highly desirableWorking experience in R&D organizations within food or manufacturing industry is a plusAbility to travel within the region up to 15% of the time.
