Key Responsibilities:

Guide business customers through business case development for new applications and functionality, including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis. Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through front-end analysis and research, combined with an excellent understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and available IT solutions. Analyze business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications. Deliver value through realization of benefits, identifying new opportunities and modernizing the organization. Create or modify procedures to solve complex problems. Work with the business and customer service teams to define product support procedures. Understand industry issues and trends and present technical solutions that enhance the value of our customers products and services. Ensure client IT Methodology and best practices are adhered to. Collaborate with other business analysts, technical staff, and management. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Basic Qualifications: (required)

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent coordination skills, collaborating across IT teams to accomplish the application upgrade. Experience working with developers and quality assurance analysts in a team setting using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria, analyzing test cases, and release prep and planning.

2+ years of business systems analyst experience to include:

Formulating and defining system scope and objectives for assigned projects Gathering and preparing detailed system requirements and diagrams Creating and modifying procedures to solve complex issues Coordinating work across scrum teams Escalate and remove roadblocks presented from development team
