Strategically develop and implement capacity planning strategies to meet both current and future business needs.Utilize historical data and business forecasts to accurately project capacity requirements and identify potential constraints.Collaborate closely with department heads and stakeholders to understand resource needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with business goals.Lead the development of capacity scenarios, considering factors such as workforce skills, technology capabilities, etc.Manage the headcount forecasting process, ensuring regular updates and adjustments based on changing business conditions.Conduct scenario analysis and simulations to assess the impact of different strategies on capacity utilization and operational performance.Monitor key performance indicators related to capacity utilization, productivity, and efficiency, and proactively address deviations from targets.Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment between capacity plans and budgetary constraints.Provide regular reports and updates to department heads and senior management on capacity planning initiatives, including risks, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement.Strategize the alignment of headcount to capacity conversion for optimal resource utilization.Analyze capacity vs. demand variance status and assign action items to drive alignment.Maintain and publish hiring and attrition tracker, sending timely requests for backfills as needed. Who are you? Typically requires a minimum of 7-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management or Statistics); or 3+ years and a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred certifications in Project/Agile/Business Operations Management (e.g., PMP, ACP).In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.Hands-on experience with advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills to effectively share data through storytelling.Working knowledge of reporting and visualization tools for presentation and model creation, such as Bearing Workflow, MS Project (Tableau and database knowledge will be an added advantage).Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.Ability to solve complex problems, take a new perspective on existing solutions, and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders to meet timelines with minimal supervision.
