Team
You will be part of the growing FM Science and Technology Europe in Luxembourg and work with the local Research Director of Climate Risk & Resilience and her global team of scientists that are located across the U.S., Singapore and Luxembourg. The team develops hazard models and knowledge around flood, wind, severe convective storms, wildfire, etc., to assess current and future impact on our insured and prospect assets. You will report into the Research Director of Climate Risk & Resilience.

We are looking for our backbone of the Climate Risk & Resilience Research team who will be involved in a large variety of operational, administrative and impactful activities ensuring that the researchers can perform their scientific tasks with the upmost professionalism.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Include:
Assist and organize schedules, travel bookings and process receipts/ invoices for the Research Director and support the international team where needed.Support a smooth operational running of the office location and lab facilities, including utilities, postal service, logistics, catering, etcReview and monitor the financial budget and administrative activities of the Research Area. Support the Department and Scientists in project management activities: Participate in finding effective and (innovative) solutions to business needs identified by the Research Director to support key result areas such as monitoring and enabling team productivity and improving customer service. Work with the team to support project structure, governance and management during development of products.Responsible for being the Go-to person for existing and new research processes, procedures and technology introduced by FM, ensuring that Research Division business needs are satisfied before and after implementation.Plan, prepare, carry out (moderate) and follow up on various strategic and agile workshops for the team.Support and participate in building the Market Intelligence for climate research by structuring the knowledge-base in terms of competitor analysis, market developments, regional storytelling. QualificationsQualified candidates must have:
A university degree or equivalent. The job title and level may be adjusted depending on qualifications and experience.5+ years of transaction and processing experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products with excellent mastery of Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables.Demonstrated project management abilities.An interest in scientific research.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Be curious to learn new things and investigate new ways of working.Fluent in in English and French (oral and written).Desired Skills and Competency Areas
