**About the Role** Uber's Revenue and Quote to Cash Product team is looking for a Business System Analyst to join the team. Uber's Revenue and Quote to Cash Platforms are a near real-time financial product that translates billions of transactions into compliant financial accounting transactions monthly. The platform is used by accountants during each month-end close. It also distributes financial information to the wilder finance organization for management and reporting purposes. In this challenging role, you will join the front lines of a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced Finance and Business Operations team, designing and codifying our business processes into enterprise systems. This role offers the opportunity for a curious and collaborative Business Systems Analyst to increase clarity and efficiency of end-to-end business processes while driving elasticity of corporate strategy through reporting of key corporate metrics. This position will be trusted to translate cross-functional business requirements into system design, allowing for data-driven strategy and insights. A strong understanding of Financial Accounting and experience with SQL is required. Experience in building or implementing financial systems is preferred **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- 01. Work with a cross-functional team to build financial systems supporting and automating the Quote to Cash lifecycle 02. Identify business-driven needs 03. Produce concise yet effective business requirements 04. Identify gaps and recommend action plans and prioritization 05. Review existing processes and lead the creation of requirement user stories to engage with IT and build the solution 06. Implement third-party financial applications, especially ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 07. Integrate in-house and third-party applications with Revenue and Quote to Cash financial systems 08. UAT Support and post-production support 09. Establish cutover planning and data migrations 10. Support month-end close process 11. Provide consulting services to the internal collaborators, offer expert level understanding of revenue and settlements systems configuration. 12. Manage system improvement and modification to meet business needs within the core revenue, order to cash and settlements systems \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 01. Minimum 8+ years of business analysis and system design experience working with financial systems 02. Experience in deploying financial application projects globally in a controlled environment 03. Passionate about improving processes and articulating to partners using various tools and techniques- process flows, data flows, business use cases, etc. 04. You know how to use data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis. 05. Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away. 06. Passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature. 07. A track record of driving challenging and complex programs/projects to closure 08. In-depth understanding of large company's accounting monthly close process and financial controls 09. Strong collaboration and leadership skills 10. Strong working experience in implementing and designing Revenue Systems with high-volume 11. Strong working experience in implementing Quote to Cash Financial Systems especially in the B2B area 12. Strong SQL skills 13. Strong data analytical skills 14. Proficiency in Excel 15.
