Sr Business Unit Group Manager - C15 - TAMPA
The Risk CAO organization has an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in leading technology change and transformation. This role is part of the Resource and Business Management team within the CAO organization of Risk Management and will be responsible to oversee the Risk Technology investment management process, governing an annual spend of approx. $300M in technology related initiatives. The role will require a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and strong business acumen, who can drive a variety of activities across a global organization. Responsibilities: + Support strategy, planning and oversight of technology initiatives and spend, supporting a cadence of ongoing operating rhythms and governance routines as part of the technology investment process. Governance routines run across a significant stakeholder network, of varying seniority across Risk, Finance, Technology and ICRM including: + Weekly touchpoints with technology business execution teams + Monthly financial reviews with senior stakeholders in the business, finance and Technology + Monthly BOW change control process + Representing Risk in the Compliance Technology Oversight Forum (CTOF) and driving the Compliance technology strategy within Risk through execution of the in business governance forum and process. + Execution of the BCBS239 Tech governance metric for Risk, ensuring the BOW is clearly identified, prioritized and tracked on an ongoing basis. + Lead the annual technology investment prioritization and budget process across Risk management stakeholders, providing thorough review and challenge of requests. + Collaborate with the relevant SMEs to ensure that investments have been sufficiently vetted e.g, ICRM, Business execution leads, RBCM owners, reg leads. + Enforce cross risk stripe prioritization to allow for focus and investment towards the most critical projects, ensuring the Risk BOW is organized in alignment to existing business architecture e.g., CEAM + Manage the technology BOW through the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring benefits are realized and return on investment can be measured. + Hold owners and technology partners accountable for dollars spent during the lifecycle, ensuring Risk's resources are spent in the most efficient manner. This includes, identifying opportunities that rationalize, standardize and simplify capabilities, or reduce overall operating expense. + Partner with key stakeholders across Risk and Technology to define the Risk wide technology target state, along with the journey from the current state so that dollars spent can be tracked and their value clearly understood. + Stand up a capability vetting process to approve any proposed new capability to be deployed to ensure it aligns to the overall business target state, and is not potentially overlapping with existing functionalities. + Barter cross-enterprise collaboration and sharing of platforms and tooling where possible in support of tech investment optimization. + Execute projects that fall outside the scope of normal course of business, as determined by Business Execution head + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: + 12 years relevant experience, ideally in Banking or Financial Services with prior work experience in area related to business management, FP&A, technology management, strategy consulting, change management or process improvement + Ability to balance multiple projects and time-sensitive deliverables simultaneously in a fast paced, dynamic environment + Openness to challenge and willingness to continuously challenging the status quo + Big picture mindset with ability to join dots across a large landscape & network of stakeholders + Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex concepts in a concise manner + Must have excellent written communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story and experience in crafting executive level materials for senior management Education: + Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Business Strategy, Management & Administration ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Business Execution & Administration ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** Tampa Florida United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $170,000.00 - $300,000.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
