At CESO, a Senior Survey CAD Technician assists our land survey team in the analysis and preparation of multiple types of surveys. As your expertise grows, so will the scope of your responsibilities for a wide range of commercial, residential, and energy projects. You will have primary responsibilities that will include:

Work with Survey Project Managers and Field Survey CrewsAssist with the preparation of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, easement exhibits, subdivision plats, oil and gas well plats, and other survey deliverablesUnderstand civil engineering and survey drawingsPrepare 2-D and 3-D detailed electronic maps, drawings, exhibits, descriptions, and records using computer-assisted drafting software (CAD), including AutoCAD and Civil-3DUnderstand 3-D surfaces, features, and line codingPerform courthouse and utility researchPrepare basic legal descriptionsAssist in other survey duties as neededLocal travel as needed

Position requirements include:

Associate degree in AutoCAD design or related field; 2-4 years of experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCivil 3D experience preferredSurvey-related backgroundSurvey industry standards and procedure knowledge is a plusValid Driver’s License
