Sr Campaign Program Manager , Amazon
Scope of role:
Amazon’s Cross Channel Marketing Team (XCM) is looking for an experienced, detail oriented Sr Mass Ad Program Manager to support our Retail Brand and business development launches through marketing efforts. This role will drive process and oversee the execution of creative projects supporting high profile, high impact business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of consumer-facing ad campaign development and production across integrated channels.

Throughout the creative development process, in partnership with the Sr. Campaign Manager, the CPM ensures overall alignment to regional and global campaign messaging and creative direction, manages ongoing logistics, and proactively plans for any and all option value. This role routinely assesses the campaign’s progress across multiple teams (creative, media, and business teams) and remains in lock step with internal and external creatives as the team drives to leadership reviews. This candidate will demonstrate strong ownership and bias for action, strategic thinking and problem solving, and maintain clear and concise communication across all levels of leadership. This role is solutions focused, able to identify escalation paths at critical milestones, and anticipate and mange potential blockers across concept development, production, and delivery phases.

Candidates must have relevant experience at an advertising agency, consultancy, or in house creative studio. Additionally, this individual will have the ability to anticipate workload and resources needed for a successful project and manage complex stakeholder matrixes while working closely with the internal creative team to develop and execute innovative initiatives to achieve business goals. Candidate should have experience working directly with, or being embedded with creative resources day to day. Experience managing and partnering with both internal and external stakeholders is ideal. This role will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, able to assess and manage risks. They understand creative program management best practices, are able to clearly define roles and responsibilities of team members and stakeholders, manage multiple end-to end creative workflows, and able to proactively provide thoughtful solutions to address changes in timelines or feedback. They will be an organized self-starter with the ability to develop and implement processes and able to work alongside cross-functional teams to provide guidance for projects.

The candidate should have experience managing multiple projects, own schedules, outline key milestones, and traffic deliverables. The candidate will thrive in a dynamic, often ambiguous and fast-paced environment, implementing and streamlining processes and raising the bar on creative deliverables for integrated cross-site events.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of integrated consumer marketing brand, campaign, creative program / project management or similar experience working with creative teams
• Bachelor's degree in business marketing, communications, advertising or related field required
• Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams
• Experience leading integrated, cross-channel deliverable development – Broadcast, POLV/ OLV, Digital Display and DOOH, Social, and Audio
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with creative team members, media leads and senior leadership

Additional required skills:
• Able to operate independently and navigate highly ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers, and know when to escalate and balance business critical tradeoffs to keep the project moving forward
• Able to manage multiple, large scale, competing workstreams simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
• Able to move at speed with the high urgency nature of retail for on-time delivery of demand driving events
• Able to manage campaign budget and forecasting
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to synthesize project complexities into clear and concise communication
• Knowledge and proficiency with Project Management tools and look to improve existing processes, implement and / or utilize workflow tools

Additional preferred skills:
• Experience in retail events, on-site planning and development, or brand integrations
• Experience in global or multi-country localization and/or transcreation experience
• Knowledge of or proficiency with Project Management tools and programs (Smartsheet)
• Knowledge of motion graphics and post production workflow
