In the role of Sr Channel Sales Manager for Northeastern United States you will manage and direct the activities of our industry leading dealer channel to ensure they are developing, promoting, and specifying the Phoenix Controls portfolio in the Northeast. You will act as the domain knowledge expert for critical environments work closely with dealers, partners, and consultants to specify the portfolio, be a technical and application expert, identify new channel partners, develop end-user leads in specific verticals and support the commercialization efforts of the Northeastern partner network. You will work with engineering and sales to develop the next generation portfolio that meets Northeastern market and customer requirements while positioning Phoenix Controls to continue to lead in Critical Environments.
In your role, you will be responsible for:
Managing and guiding dealer Channel Sales Activities Coordinating and Managing Projects Provide Customer Support Facilitate Team Alignment Deliver Status Reports Demand generation and creation of value propositions including end-customer, contractor, specifier, and dealer visits Serving as the technical and application expert for Phoenix Controls in the Northeast Analyze growth opportunities and regional expansions Analyze product development needs specific to the market served Present technical sales proposals to customers Develop and champion best-in-class sales training for partners and customers Coordinate engineering support of pursuits Building a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, industry players, trends, competitive strategies, technologies, standards, regulations, and economics Driving Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to identify opportunities to differentiate Phoenix Controls Commercializing and communicating new product launches, including value propositions, product bulletins, competitive analyses, datasheets, sales tools, and marcom / promotional activities Driving channel activities, working closely with consultants to specify the portfolio, support signing up channel partners, developing end-user leads in specific verticals and supporting the commercialization efforts of our sales teams. Contributing to the STRAP/AOP planning process for the portfolio Engage in customer-facing activities, trade shows, seminars etc. Supporting regular senior management portfolio reviewsTravel Requirements
