Senior Clinical Trial Educator

The Senor Clinical Trial Educator (Senior CTE) will provide information and education on clinical trial inclusion and exclusion criteria to trial coordinators and healthcare providers. The Senior CTE will provide in-service presentations with the goal to increase patient enrollment. The Senior CTE works in partnership with CRAs and other field-based medical teams for optimal trial execution, developing tailored recruitment plans.  This position also requires the Senior CTE to work with referring physicians and develop referral networks to support the sites, as well as work with support groups in the therapeutic area. This is a full time, field- based position, up to 75% travel.

The Senior CTE will be a clinical expert in a therapeutic area and have a high level of understanding of the life sciences industry. The Senior CTE will have proven success in customer accounts (e.g. Site and Sponsor), shown a high level of cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Clinical Team), and proven ability to provide ad hoc Project Management support with excellent results. The Senior CTE develops/raises the skill level of others by serving as a mentor and demonstrates leadership skills within their team/project.  

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree requiredClinical Research experience requiredPrior Clinical Trial Educator experience requiredRN license preferredCCRC preferredProject management, cross-functional collaboration, leadership and mentorship skills requiredClinical competency in a therapeutic area requiredCommunity engagement experience required Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials experience preferredExcellent interpersonal skills, able to establish rapport with a wide range of peopleLife Science Industry experience and associated business acumen requiredHigh level of customer service skills and proven customer account successesExcellent technology, presentation and administrative skillsStrong oral and written communication skills in local languageDemonstrated ability to complete patient recruitment activities including referral outreach, chart reviews, and data abstractionDemonstrated ability to quickly gain understanding of a situation and to have a solutions-based approach to resolving problemsDemonstrated ability to execute tasks with minimal oversightDemonstrated ability to coordinate and complete activities across multiple functionsAble to work independently with proven self-motivationFrequent travel up to 75%, with potential for overnight stays

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $113,900.00 - $189,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
