We are the Sabre Cloud Foundation Engineering team. We enable development teams by building workflows and services that allow independent interactions with the cloud platform. The technology glue we build binds together a never-ending list of choices across an open cloud provider to deliver paved roads. We deliver an agile product, used by all of Sabre in our journey to the cloud.

As a Senior cloud engineer you will be responsible for the evolution and support of the cloud based environments and infrastructure supporting our products and will provide key input into the design of new feature sets, as well as optimizing existing functionality.

Job Description

Design, build, and lead the development of cloud native applications using the Google Cloud Platform services.
Responsible for developing technology architecture of the solution.
Strong ability to write and manage scripts and utilities to enhance/automate day to day administration activities. Possess strong skills in any of the automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python etc.  
Create and maintain documentation of enterprise infrastructure topology and system configurations.
Work closely with App Dev teams/Project managers to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
Design/lead application development and broader systems while supporting DevOps, i.e. management of the process of building software. 
Work within an agile team that includes members with cross-functional skills.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience.

•    Extensive experience with cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services
•    Proficiency with orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python
