Major Duties :1. Participates in, monitors, and assists with assessing the effectiveness of the organization’s overall Diversity strategy. Uses internal connections to develop diversity advocacy and align diversity initiatives with organizational strategic business imperatives. 2. Partners with employees in the business unit in support of the business case for diversity within the areas of talent management, recruiting, marketing and public relations, project management, training, and employee development. 3. Assists in the development, implementation and execution of comprehensive diversity metrics, initiatives and educational programs within the Corporation. 4. Assumes leadership role in continuous research against targeted goals as articulated in the Management Group Scorecard. 5. Coordinates/leads diversity initiatives with centers of expertise in human resources. 6. Assists in monitoring the corporation’s progress against targeted goals as articulated in the Management Group Scorecard 7. Establishes and maintains external relationships with diversity practice leaders and compiles best practices. 8. Develop, update, and distribute relevant electronic and printed publications (i.e. electronic bulletins, newsletters, posters, brochures, etc.) 9. Coordinates/leads the ongoing development of diversity infrastructure around communications, education, recruiting and business resource councils. 10. Carries out activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact. 11. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management 12. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees Knowledge :• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to interact with partners of all levels including senior management • Strong understanding of the Diversity & Inclusion discipline within a business enterprise • Analytical and problem solving skills are required • Understanding of broadly varied cultures and global geography • Technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office, etc.) Experience :A College or University degree is preferred and/or at least 10 years of work experience in Human Resources and/or diversity & inclusion is preferred.
