Sr Commercial Operations Analyst

Job Summary

The Sr Commercial Operations Analyst is responsible for Sales Operations activities, including backorder optimization, providing key reporting and metrics on our order pipeline and ensuring our stakeholders have accurate and timely data on product shortages, production schedules etc. Will also participate in providing training to global customer support and sales teams on managing various tools for order status and sales order management

Duties & Responsibilities

Reconciliation of backorder reports; Provide weekly backorder metrics and recommend opportunities for improvement; Daily audit of backorder optimization. Prioritize and revise sales orders as needed; Research and respond to inquiries on inventory status from global customer support teams; Lead weekly backorder meetings with customer service, logistics, and operations teams; Support the integration of sales operations tools into Power BI or other programs; Provide quarter-end in-transit metrics & analysis; Analyze data and update leadership on trends and key observations; Provide recommendations for improvements in reports and operational processes;  Perform other duties as requested.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience and Skills

5 or more years working in a Sales Operations or customer service role.  High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and flexible work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Power BI. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tool. Experience with ERP system.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required (Business degree preferred) 

Compensation

The anticipated range for this position is $75,000 - $113,000.  Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking.  Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.  May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.  Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
