Honeywell is seeking a qualified Sr. Communications Specialist to be a key part\nof Honeywell China corporate’s internal communications programs. The position\nwill be based in Shanghai and will report to the Sr Communications Supervisor\nfor Honeywell China.
This position will play an instrumental role in leading key corporate internal\ncommunications in China, including executive communication and employee\nengagement programs. By partnering with corporate and strategic business group\nexecutives, function leaders, and teaming up with external communications and\ncustomer marketing teams, he/she will manage internal communication programs\nthat support the company’s China growth objectives and talent strategy.
This individual should have strong language capability especially in English\nwriting, and be able to interact with all levels of the organization in a\ndynamic, large corporation environment and work with a diversified global team.\nExperience in China communications and employee engagement is extremely\nimportant.
Responsibilities
•Execute communication strategies for executive communications, including town\nmeetings, leadership messaging and function content (HSE, Legal/Compliance\netc), serve as an advisor to function stakeholders
•Plan and organize internal activities to drive employee engagement. Support\nOne-Honeywell activities in the region and other communication support needs\nper request
•Partner with HR team to design and implement people engagement programs that\nsupport China talent strategy and promote employer brand, and be able to track\nresults and calculate impact and efficiency
•Work with global communication counterparts and regional cross-function teams\nto drive internal communication and employee campaigns, leadership message\nflow-downs, award and recognition programs, etcBasic Qualifications
•3-5 years working experience in corporate communications function in\nmulti-national companies
•Bachelor degree with major in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations,\nEnglish or related fields
•Storytelling ability and good writing skills, project management and\nproblem-solving skills, ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
•Ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external\nstakeholders, work as part of a diversified team and work across matrixed\norganization with C-suites
•Ability to develop / implement innovative corporate communications campaigns\nand leverage software to create polished and compelling digital content in\nvideos and presentations
