As a Senior Communications Specialist here at Honeywell for Process Solutions, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing communication strategies to effectively engage internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to create and deliver compelling content that aligns with the company's messaging and brand. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute internal communications.

You will report directly to our Director Communications, HPS and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization by driving effective communication strategies that enhance the company's reputation and engage employees and internal stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to shape the narrative and ensure consistent messaging across various communication channels.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nDevelop and execute communication strategies and plans from inception to measurement reporting\nCreate, deliver, and update engaging content for internal communications channels\nIdentify new tools or expand use of existing tools\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment in support of the business and function\nPlan and execute internal events, such as quarterly town halls and employee engagement activities\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n4+ years of experience internal or external communications in a corporate or agency setting\nPrevious experience in large, complex, matrixed organizations\nExcellent communications skills, including verbal and especially written\nStrong written and verbal communication skills

\n\nBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field\nExperience in employee communications and change management\nKnowledge of digital communication platforms and tools\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nHighly organize and detail-oriented mindset\nAbility to see the bigger picture and provide strategic counsel\nExperience leveraging software to create polished and compelling communications\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams applications and familiarity with Associated Press Style\nProficiency in design software and online tools\n\n
