Sr Compensation Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Compensation, the Senior Compensation Manager provides analytical and consultative compensation support to Human Resource leaders and teams in Saint-Gobain’s North American businesses. As an integral part of the Compensation team within the Total Rewards department, the role conducts comprehensive data analytics in support of the department and our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) offerings. The individual will also serve as the compensation subject matter expert to the assigned business client groups in compensation planning, short-term and long-term incentive plans. A key component is to support the development, design, implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures, while managing common compensation activities, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design and associated analyses. The Sr. Compensation Manager will need to communicate new programs/changes and upcoming events to key stakeholders and interpret compensation policies.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Conduct comprehensive data analytics in support of department and business priorities.
+ Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reported, making effective recommendations based on outcomes.
+ Provide support to assigned business clients in all compensation related activities, including data analytics and accurate recommendations for review and decision making, system support, job evaluations and leveling.
+ Participate in and/or lead special projects supporting the business, as needed.
+ Recommend improvements in administration and communication so that plan participants understand the full benefit of the program.-
+ Support department in long-term incentive plans administration. The first point of contact for assigned client groups for long-term related questions, ensure plan participants understand programs and processes and systems are optimized to deliver a positive employee experience.
+ Conduct data analyses for assigned acquisitions and divestitures activities for SGC NA, participating in related due diligence calls and ensuring timely and accurate material review and data generation.
+ Manage the Pay-Transparency initiative to ensure compliance with state regulations.
+ Manage a direct report (Sr. Compensation Analyst) and assign duties as needed.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field is required
+ 6-8+ years of experience in Compensation focused role is required
+ Experience with Hay Point Factor methodology and stock plan administration is preferred
+ Experience in Workday Compensation preferred
+ Experience with Job Architecture implementation is preferred
+ Experience conducting job evaluations is required
+ Must be able to proficiently manipulate large amounts of data and conduct analysis within Microsoft Excel and/or Access, run reports in various software applications, and summarize for decision making or official reporting.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders within the businesses
