Job Summary: Responsible for providing support and maintenance of computers, monitors, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile carts, ipads, and all other related peripheral equipment. The Sr. computer systems specialist will primarily support the desktop team as subject matter expert on windows based products such as the operating system, antivirus software, internet browsers, email and computers using the electronic medical record systems but also support other operating systems such as Android and IOS. The Sr. computer systems specialist will support associated hardware platforms and peripherals, remote mobile computing and network connectivity along with internal end user support handling requests for hardware and software related issues. Develop and Maintains inventory of all computer system equipment. Provides design and information for new projects. Assist the coordinator with training/education to co-workers on company programs, policies and how to provide follow-up actions when resolving technical problems both in person and via phone throughout the entire geographic area of the CaroMont Health.
Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Work Experience: requires a minimum of nine (9) years’ experience directly working as a specialist in support of computers. Must have seven (7) years’ experience in an IT service environment in support of computer systems and peripheral equipment as it relates to installation and maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, hardware, software and networking basics. An understanding of IOS, Android and Windows mobile operating systems as well as mobile device management platforms. Demonstrated leadership skills and able to work in a group or alone. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills required.
