Department OverviewThe Business Operations team is responsible for overseeing the financial performance of various service delivery organizations. This function's objectives are to manage the organization’s operating budgets, assess team productivity, identify opportunities to improve financial leverage and manage capital projects.
Job Description

The role of the Senior Consultant - Financial Business Operations is to establish and manage processes to forecast and drive revenue growth in the cybersecurity and professional services businesses in support of the Video and Software Services organization and its leadership.

 

Specifically:

Analyze/report financial data to forecast and drive revenue growth of Cybersecurity and Professional Services.

Ensure booked revenue is correctly accounted for.

Partner with Finance to produce the current view (CV) of revenue forecast.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service delivery teams to assess pricing and its alignment with margin expectations.

Establish governance processes for contract renewals and upsell opportunities.

Deliver executive briefings to senior leadership on a monthly basis.

Skills:

Experience with services, finance, and software businesses would be helpful.

Familiarity with MSI’s financial systems (Smart view, Ledger, Service contract system, etc) is desirable.

Experience with revenue tracking and forecasting would be helpful.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly and concisely communicate information at multiple levels of the organization.

Solid organizational and time management skills; ability to balance and effectively prioritize diverse activities to meet commitments.


Basic Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a finance or business discipline or equivalent experience.

8+ years of related Financial Business Operations experience.
