Under limited supervision, the Sr Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for the full life cycle recruitment process for roles at a variety of levels within the organization. The role will focus on building Empower’s employment brand and interaction with hiring managers and candidates in support of the Talent Acquisition function.


 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manages staffing needs as required.Leads/performs a full range of recruiting functions including recruitment and seeks out candidates using advanced sourcing techniques and resources.Develops new candidate sources, including networks, referrals, and outreach programs. Mines web for passive candidates.Screens candidates to develop a "short list" of top qualified candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques and other methods/tools.Makes offers to candidates following internal policies and practices.Proactively consults with all levels of management regarding staffing strategy and requirements.Anticipates hiring needs and supports the development of strategic workforce plans.Initiates and maintains communications with hiring managers and candidates.Maintains and facilitates service level agreements with clients; delivers service to meet or exceed those agreements.Assists with resolutions of escalations under the guidance of HR Leadership (hard to fill requisitions, vendor issues, background checks, etc).Ability to serve as department subject matter expert concerning the use and enhancement of recruiting systems.Develops candidate sourcing strategies, monitors vendor budgets and agreement fulfillment, and develops talent acquisition policies and procedures under the direction of HR Leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 7 years of staffing, recruitment and/or combined HR experience, including experience in recruiting for all levels of roles including management.Demonstrated ability to present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers, get buy-in to continually improve recruiting processes and outcomes.Able to demonstrate strong initiative, solid judgment abilities/skills, manage multiple priorities and highly developed relationship building skillsDemonstrates exceptional customer focus, coaching and teamwork skills as well as ability to be flexible and adaptable.
