Your role

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for supporting lean thinking and implementation principles across the site. Specific responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, leading, mentoring, and training others in continuous improvement tools.

What you'll be doing

Support and carry out the Continuous Improvement (CI) Strategy for Baxter Monterrey Plant.Work with the CI organization to build central initiatives at the site linked to the Baxter Operating System (BOS)Implement conversion and overhead savings projectsLead the 6S program and methodology, responsible for training 6s auditorsWithin the site: Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Visual Management, provide training in Lean tools at all levels, lead and facilitate Kaizen and Value Stream eventsCoordinate the execution of action plans and action items from the kaizen periodicalImplement Lean with Standardized Work, Visual Management, Line Balancing tools as well as build the documentation in work instructionsContinuous identification of waste in the supply chain and implementation of improvement projects to eliminate itFacilitate A3 and be a mentor for team members in the problem solving methodologyLean shop management and management Personnel (Lean Technician, Lean Workshop Technician)

What you'll bringEngineering bachelorIntermediate EnglishProven experience (3 years minimum) in continuous improvement Knowledge of Lean tools such as VSM, 5s, Standardized Work, TPM, Kanban, Kaizen, Level Production, etc.
