Sr Controller (Manufacturing)

Hiring for a Sr Controller out of the Baltimore, MD area. The Ideal candidate will have a background in Accounting / Finance working for a Manufacturer. This role will be 100% On-Site with some remote work as needed. This will be a Direct Hire opportunity and will manage a a team of Finance and Accounting Professionals.
Ideally 8+ years in a Sr Finance / Controller or Accounting Manager role working for a Manufacturer.
Ideal Compensation: $160-$180K
Main Points:Manage and maintain cost accounting processes to accurately track and analyze manufacturing costs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and optimize production costs, identifying areas for improvement.Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Coordinate and facilitate public company audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and deadlines.Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries to ensure a smooth audit process.Lead the transformation of our pricing strategy and processes, making data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability. Function as a key advisor to the CEO on pricing decisions.Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer demand to adjust pricing strategies for maximum competitiveness and profitability..Manage the financial reporting of all entities by established monthly deadlines.Perform detailed financial analysis of financial statements to ensure results are complete and accurate.Play a key role in supporting the integration of recent and future acquisitions.Build the appropriate accounting infrastructure and teams to meet reporting timelines.Assist with preparation of annual budgets and quarterly spreads.Assist with financial forecasting and projections (EBITDA)
