Sr Controllership Analyst

Are you ready to help us make the future? Senior Controllership Analyst is within the Controllership STAR Program. The STAR Program is a dedicated early career development program for individuals with public accounting experience, designed to provide targeted training, mentorship, exposure to the Executive Leadership Team, and accelerated career progression. The STAR Program is a unique opportunity to transition from public accounting to industry and gain exposure to various financial disciplines and Honeywell processes. In addition, the program is designed provide the opportunity to rotate to other STAR roles or graduate to a manager role within 12 to 24 months. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations • Drive the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at the corporate level • Support the Controller in managing and developing the controllership team Key Success Factors: + Ability to conduct technical accounting research and/or apply knowledge of accounting guidance to real world situations/contracts. + Ability to understand accounting and financial processes related to manufacturing operations and to develop working relationships with all involved. + Ability to work in a matrixed organization structure. + Ability to manage and drive change across functional lines. YOU MUST HAVE: + 2+ years of experience in large public accounting firm + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or on CPA path WE VALUE: + Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance + Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and business processes + Strong written and verbal communications skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence others + Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with customers/personnel at all organizational levels in independent and often stressful and ambiguous situations + Project management skills; ability to effectively participate and/or lead projects/teams + Effective listening skills, and flexibility in approach to solutions + Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and organization skills + Innovative; focus on process improvement + Ability to work flexible hours to meet monthly/quarterly closing requirements + Experience in Excel + SAP Experience preferred Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
