Sr Corporate Accountant
Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Opportunity to play a key role in an international, $3.5 Billion+ publicly traded company headquartered outside of Atlanta. This is a high visibility role with significant growth opportunities within the corporate accounting, intercompany and global consolidations team. The role will interface with our corporate finance and reporting teams, along with our global finance teams supporting our segments and divisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, the desire to drive change and process improvement, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be… Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting activities, including: Preparing and recording corporate journal entries Researching GL account activity Preparing advanced balance sheet reconciliations (using OneStream) Maintain foreign currency rates and complete monthly revaluations Prepare and maintain prepaid amortization schedules P&L Analysis to ensure accuracy of monthly expenses Maintain global fixed assets and corresponding schedules, including capitalization, disposition, transfers, depreciation, tracking projects in process and roll forwards Maintain operating and financing leases and corresponding schedules in accordance with ASC 842 Identifying and executing process improvements and efficiencies Preparing ad hoc reports and assisting with special projects, as requested Coordinating certain close and other accounting activities with Chart's global accounting teams Accounting ownership of certain legal entity ledgers and corporate balance sheet accounts Working with the external and internal auditors, as needed Your Education Should Be… Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from 4-year college or university is required Master’s degree / CPA (or CPA track) / CMA preferred Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Your Professional Experience Should Be… Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting (or equivalent) required Strong understanding of US GAAP required Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS) required Experience with large ERP system required (JDE Enterprise One preferred) Foreign currency & international accounting experience preferred Legal entity / intercompany accounting experience preferred Chart is an equal opportunity employer...
