The Sr Customer Service Technician will operate within our customer’s facilities performing the maintenance function per the Intelligrated contract. The Sr Customer Service Technician is critical to the smooth operation of our customer’s distribution centers and will be required to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of our customer’s various material handling systems. The Sr Customer Service Technician will take the initiative to coordinate with other departments the activities required for the safe and satisfactory completion of any job tasks. The Sr Customer Service Technician will represent Intelligrated on site and will also need to follow our customer’s guidelines for general work practices outlined on site.
\n\nYou will report directly to the Regional Maintenance Manager, and you will work onsite full-time at the customer location in Brantford, ON.
\n\nResponsibilities:
\n\n\n\tAssists other Technicians in the repair and maintenance of distribution center material handling equipment\n\tCompletes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures\n\tDiagnoses and repair mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, laptop).\n\tLeads troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment\n\tFollow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.) and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards. Adheres to all department and company standards, operating procedures and safety requirements while contributing to improvement\n\tOperates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment\n\tUtilizes TCPiP as a troubleshooting/setup tool\n\tPerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to safety and quality procedures\n\tTroubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious\n\tAssist in the development of specific technical and training documentation\n\tProvides resolutions to mechanical, technical/controls issues; documents all information relating to customer support issues in CMMS and Dashboard database; utilizes resources in other departments (when necessary) to expedite the resolution of conveyor related issues\n\tProvides information to the Customer Service Department and other members of management to enhance Customer Service success. Follows up with customers and other departments to ensure issues have been resolved\n\tParticipates in cleaning the conveyor systems, maintenance shop area, and part cage as appropriate\n\tMaintains inventory of company supplied tools and PPE\n\tCompletes appropriate paperwork in a timely manner\n\tHas strong understanding of machine controls\n\tServes as a Technical Trainer to the Customer Service Technician\n\tAnalyzes and troubleshoots reoccurring issues and creates an action plan/RAIL to support the change\n\tMay be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned\n\n\n\n\tFlexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.\n\n\nWilling to work overtime as required.Some travel may be required but it is not mandatory / this is for training purposes; this is strongly encouraged to help develop skills & learn networking across the many avenues Honeywell has to offer.Acts as CSS Site Supervisor on days requiredThis Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment.
