Sr D365 Developer

Duties / Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using the D365 F&O platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure services. Utilize web services and APIs to integrate D365 with other systems and applications. Collect, assimilate, and analyze relevant data to help surface and support solutions. Participate in technical analysis and create specification documents. Perform coding, implementation, Unit testing, debugging, modification, documentation, and application maintenance. Identify and implement Microsoft Best Practices for Designing and Coding for D365 F&O. Provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team. Mentor entry and mid-level developers. Develop and test Power Pages (Power Apps Portals). Ensure proper code quality is maintained and best practices recommended by Microsoft. Ensure adherence solution meets security and compliance requirements. Provide guidance and support to the development team and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure successful integration with other systems. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to technical problems. Utilize Azure DevOps CI/CD for deployment. Automate testing (Unit, Integration, End-End, Performance) to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of the solution. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5 years of professional experience with at least 7 years in leadership roles. 2+ years of relevant experience with end-to-end implementations completed in D365 F&O technical. Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O configuration, customization, plugin and SDK-based development. Broad base of knowledge and skills related to Dynamics 365 F&O and AP, AR, Inventory management, Warehouse management, Finance. Strong experience in SOA, REST and other web services. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles (Waterfall/ Agile), development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning and hyper care support. Familiarity in web application development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Technically fluent in programming languages, including .NET, C#, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, CSS and HTML. Knowledge of Azure DevOps. 3 - 5 years of experience in developing solutions using the D365 platform, including D365 Finance and Operations, D365 Customer Engagement, and D365 Business Central. Experience with web services and APIs, such as REST and SOAP. MB-300, MB-500 certifications are highly desired. Industry-related experience preferred.
