We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to help clients make the most of their data.

As a client-facing data analyst on our National Security team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not nly will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but you’ll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on their cybersecurity mission.

 

Responsibilities

Identifies and collects data sources, analyzes and extracts key data and information, evaluates and monitors data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

 

How You’ll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you’ll:

Solicit and engage with analysts across your host client team to understand data flow challenges, gaps in tool or data set knowledge, and brainstorm methods to streamline analytic workflows.  Work as part of a team with government, military, and contractor personnel across organizations to research, develop, optimize, test, and document data-related tradecraft, leverage and utilize data source acquisitions and accesses, and troubleshoot data flow issues related to mission needs.  Generate solutions through the collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.  Apply consulting and communication skills and data analytics expertise by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.  Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, scripting languages such as Python, and Microsoft Office Suite.  Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions. Use your data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.  Explore, propose, and justify the use of new data sources to customers. Explain currently available data sources’ ability to enhance mission outcomes.Work with us to drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights.Join us. Qualifications

You Have: . 

5+ years of experience with classified, collateral, and OSINT data sources and query functionalitiesExperience developing fingerprints, microplugins, analytics, and notebooks using client discovery and analytic toolsExperience converting data into various formats and preserving meaningExperience as a cyber analyst, including TDNA or DNEAKnowledge of Python and regexAbility to select data, join, and enrich various datasetsAbility to communicate technical information and recommendations to peers, engineers, and analytic customersTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelors degree and 5+ years directly related experience or Masters degree and 3+ years directly related experience

Clearance:
