You Are:
UST is searching for a Sr Data Architect who will design pipelines using ADF including Integration runtimes, triggers, activities etc.
The Opportunity:
· Ingest data from various sources to datalake using Azure Data Factory.
· Perform transformations using various technologies, ADF, Pyspark, Databricks Spark, Sql etc
· Work on Azure based BigData Architecture.
· Understand requirement from client and provide feasible estimations.
· Constantly learn and work on new technologies.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What You Need:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/computer science.
· Ability to design scalable, cloud based, cost effective and secure architectures
· Hands-on experience in securing Azure workloads around designing and implementing security solutions with Security controls on Azure
· Strong Knowledge in Python, Scala, Spark, PySpark, SQL
· Experience in leading team/s working on Big data and cloud technologies.
· Should have experience in working with Clients to align on requirements, provide estimation, lead the development team, and provide quality on-time deliveries
· Expertise in working with Azure cloud services like, ADF, ADLS, Event hub etc.
· Hands-on experience to ingest data from various sources to Azure datalake using Azure Data Factory.
· Experience with designing triggers, activities and integrating various runtimes like Azure, Self- hosted, SSIS etc
· Experience in writing and optimizing Spark code.
· Strong knowledge in working with complex SQL queries and UNIX scripts.
· Have experience in working with Agile Framework
· Good to have knowledge on streaming data ingestion and transformation using Kafka/Azure Stream analytics.
· Good to have knowledge on working with languages like python or Scala.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Kansas
Compensation Range: $144,000-$216,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
