Sr Database Reliability Engineer
Job Description: The engineer will be a part of core product development team for EZCall product which is a specialized Scheduling domain product for Hospitals to schedule Doctors and Staff allocation on mostly all hospital functions especially rooms and patients. Strong knowledge of MySQL database and good learning and analytical skills Can build quick understanding about the business knowledge from existing Stored procedures of MySQL Design, develop, and maintain scalable Database scripts for EZCall product Understanding of MySQL database migration to PostgreSQL will be an added advantage Implement data models and schemas to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis Collaborate with software engineers to integrate stored procedures with existing applications and can help to Implement Database logic into applications. Implement data quality monitoring and validation processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy Optimize data infrastructure and performance to meet scalability and performance requirements Setup instrumentation and monitoring to track production health parameters and proactively alert in case of any performance degradation Qualifications Over 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role Strong experience with the MySQL and AWS and its respective data services Strong experience working with relational databases such as SQL server, MySQL Proficiency in stored Procedures in MySQL for scripting and data manipulation Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database technologies Experience working with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Airbrake is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
